Drop Biscuits
Drop biscuits with shredded cheddar cheese
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 to 3 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup milk (whole milk preferred)
Optional: 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Add in melted butter and milk, and stir until moistened.
Drop by tablespoon onto lightly greased or lined cookie sheet.
Cook for 8-10 minutes or until edges turn golden brown.
Makes 12-15 biscuits.
